Joyce began her journey with Reiki as a volunteer at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston and through Care Alternatives providing Reiki sessions for patients, staff and families.  She enjoyed this work so much she decided to expand her skills to include massage therapy. 

 

Currently, Joyce is employed at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in the Caring and Healing Modalities Department, coordinating Reiki volunteers and providing Reiki sessions.  Joyce brings Reiki into the community with Perfectly Balanced Life, a coalition of providers bringing wellness sessions, massage therapy, reflexology, meditation and Reiki to independent, assisted living and memory care units for senior residents and care givers. 

 

 

Joyce believes in the body's ability to balance and heal itself through Reiki, massage therapy and meditation, thus restoring health, balance and wholeness to the body.  She strongly supports the advancement of self-care.  Joyce is a Reiki Master/Teacher, Licensed Massage Therapist and a graduate of the Boston Buddha classes in meditation and mindfulness.
